Trattoria La Madia opened in 1956 and has been serving its guests the true flavours of Tuscan cooking ever since. Our dishes
Trattoria La Madia specialises in the deep, bold flavours of Tuscan cooking. Every ingredient that goes into our dishes is chosen personally by our chef.
The Tuscan tradition on the table at Trattoria La Madia, a typical restaurant in the centre of Florence, with beautifully prepared, tasty dishes in a relaxed family atmosphere. Grilled meats, Florentine T-bone steak, pappardelle with wild boar sauce, pappa al pomodoro and ribollita.
At Trattoria La Madia you can also enjoy naturally leavened pizza made with ingredients chosen personally by the chef. Our home-made bread and schiacciata flatbread are well worth trying too.
We also recommend our fish dishes: fresh fish, selected every day and cooked by the skilled hands of our chef. Spaghetti with lobster, spaghetti baked in paper, oven-roasted turbot and much more.
